A pre-war house extended to the garden.

The rear wall was removed and replaced with a full-width glazed façade. The new space — kitchen, dining and sitting — continues directly from the existing ground floor level.

This extension projects outward, forming a cantilever over the garden.

Slate runs from inside to out, binding floor and base into a single surface. Concrete is introduced within the kitchen.

A rooflight brings daylight into the depth of the plan. Low-level vents at the base of the glazing, paired with the opening rooflight above, establish passive cross ventilation.

The garden is organised with a single path extending from the house to its far edge. A secondary platform sits in the corner, set diagonally to the main façade.
