The rear condition is replaced with a simple framed glass enclosure within the existing envelope.
The section is opened vertically and visually across three levels.
Ground floor drawing room sits directly above the lower ground kitchen and breakfast space. Below this, the rear living area is set a third of a storey down, opening onto the garden.
Between them, a double-height dining space (1.5 storeys) connects all three levels — kitchen below, drawing room above, and garden-facing living beyond.
Split levels are linked through frameless internal glass balustrades, maintaining continuous sightlines through the section.
Existing fabric is retained. The intervention reads as a precise insertion.
The garden remains largely unchanged.
