The existing half-width extension was replaced with a full-width addition, increasing usable floor area and improving the relationship to the garden. Full-height sliding doors run across the rear, allowing the space to open directly outward.
A small side courtyard introduces daylight deeper into the plan.
Openings within the existing structure were kept deliberately modest to control cost, but positioned to connect rooms and frame views.
The interior is resolved in a restrained white palette — joinery, walls and Corian surfaces aligned as a single system. This continues externally, where the sliding doors and cladding are also formed in white Corian.
A set of yellow doors marks the threshold to the garden.
